Haivision IPTV Encoders and Decoders
HaiVision develops cutting-edge encoding and IP video
distribution technology and focuses on the performance
application of video compression technology. Their products
adhere to industry standards such as H.264 and high
definition, offering high quality, low latency and high
levels of security. Haivision encoders and decoders
are compatible with HaiVision's Video
Furnace IP video solution.
Makito Encoders and Decoders
MAKITO uses H.264 compression, and supports HD up to
1080p60 (component analogue or digital) or computer
resolutions up to 1280x1024 at 75 Hz (RGB or DVI-D),
input via its DVI-I connector. The MAKITO SDI supports
SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI (1080p60), or composite on a single
BNC. For standard definition S-video input is also supported.
MAKITO permits IPTV encoding anywhere on a resolution
/ bandwidth scale from CIF at 150 kbps to Full HD at
15 Mbps, and it supports HiLo-Streaming™ –
the ability to produce both a full resolution stream
and a reduced resolution low bitrate stream simultaneously
(perhaps, for example, HD at 8 Mbps and SD at 700 kbps).
The MAKITO Decoder supports the delivery of IPTV with
less than 100 milliseconds of end-to-end latency when
used with the MAKITO encoder.
Mako Encoder/Decoder
The MAKO encoder/decoder is a dual channel digital video
and graphics encoder/decoder that supports up to 1080p
high definition and 1280x768 graphics with 70 mS end-to-end
latency. The bi-directional nature of MAKO allows the
creation of tele-presence type IPTV links with synchronised
video and graphics. Each MAKO unit has a digital (HD-SDI/SD-SDI)
input and an analogue (RGBHV/YPbPr) input port. The
output design is similar with the addition of DVI graphics
output support.
Barracuda Encoders
BARRACUDA encoders deliver high performance H.264 standard
definition encoding in a very compact form factor. BARRACUDA
adheres to HaiVision’s Encode Once design, offering
the ability to deliver multiple IPTV streams at different
resolutions and bitrates.
