Exterity high resolution IPTV encoders for PC VGA and HDMI now available

These latest units allow you to encode computer or HD set-top box outputs as MPEG4 H.264 IPTV streams for distribution over your IT network. Use HD IPTV receivers to decode the streams for top quality images.

The new AvediaStream range from Exterity offers professional performance and reliability

Last year Exterity moved to their next generation modular product family for all IPTV head-end products. This range of products is called AvediaStream and comprises chassis units and hot-swap blade modules.

Extron Electrosonic VN-Matrix 300 Series released

New version of the high res, low latency IPTV compression encoder/decoder for professional video links

The evolution of the successful VN-Matrix (200 series) streaming encoder/decoder for DVI up to W-UXGA (1920x1080) resolution has produced the 300 series codec with 3G 1080p SDI capability.

The VN-Matrix 300 series is suited to broadcast contributions and broadcast links at SDI, HD-SDI or 3G SDI levels. The units use parallel processing and proprietory wavelet compression to achieve remarkable bit-rate reduction with no loss of quality.
